Nutri Lauric contains lauric acid and glycerol monolaurate (GML90). Lauric acid is a natural medium chain fatty acid. Medium-chain fatty acids are known to be able to cross the cell wall and thus act on the cell membrane of unfavorable gut bacteria. Research carried out by Wageningen University shows that this mode of action is enhanced by the combination of lauric acid and GML90.
